St. Mary River Fly Fishing
Flowing out of the Purcell Mountain range past Bootleg Mountain is the beautiful St. Mary River. Being one of the Kootenay River's tributaries, the St. Mary is abundant with Westslope Cutthroat Trout and spectacular views! This freestone river has crystal clear water with many pools along the way. Access is more difficult on the St. Mary, so it has less pressure from anglers therefore making it the perfect drift.
We offer a multitude of sections on the St. Mary River and each section is dramatically different than the other. Our half day trips on the St. Mary are often combined with an early game of golf.
